I first saw you smile as a small child
A downloadable RPG
Control the camera!
Engage the sculpture!
Annotate the beast!
All this and more in I first saw you smile as a small child.
This is a GMless, PCless roleplaying game for 2-5 players designed to mimic the feeling of watching an arthouse film. You don't need a film degree to play, though: all you need is a deck of cards, an imagination, and the games will take care of the rest.
These ten minigames, done in the style of Mobile Frame Zero: Firebrands, will guide you through everything you need to imagine a deeply strange film. Bizarre montages, unsettling dialogue scenes, jump scares, extremely self-indulgent long takes, it's all here and ready to go.
Also included, no extra charge, a post-script on developing the game and some of the lessons we learnt from that. If you'd like
